During the next three weeks we will engage in a variety of learning experiences. All of the lessons and activities will be geared toward helping students to improve their math and language arts skills and are specifically designed to help with MCAS testing.
The activities will involve technology and allow students the opportunity to explore skills in small group settings. We will also be using an online journaling tool called "blogging". On the first day students will set up an account using EduBlogs and use the blog everyday to discuss what they have learned that day and respond to what other students and teachers in the program have to say. The blogs will be used for a purely educational purpose and will not be a "social networking" site. They will be a closed environment that only students and teachers in the program will access.
