Festivals and Field Trips

The Chamber Singers and Bee Singers will be performing at the Westhampton Library at 1 PM (during school) on Friday, December 16, 2011. Students should report to the chorus room at 12:30 for warm-ups. We will walk up the hill to the library for the performance. Students will be back at school by 2:15.

The Chamber Singers and select other students will be performing at various elementary schools in the area singing holiday music on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Students will leave school at 8 AM and return at 1 PM.

BROADWAY TRIP TO SEE "Anything Goes" on May 9, 2012. It is time to sign up now to reserve your seat. If you're in High School Chorus, High School Band, or musical. See Ms. Phelps in room 1016 for information and forms.

The down payment of $45 is due now. Total cost will be $100 and includes lunch at Ellen's Stardust Diner and coach bus. See blue forms, available in the chorus room (1016).

Western Districts and All-States

High school students who have been recommended to audition for All-States will audition on January 21, 2012 at 1:45 at Shrewsbury High School in Shrewsbury, MA. The All-State Festival is held in Boston on March 1 and 2, 2012. More information about the All-States audition can be found here

Middle School students and freshmen have the opportunity to audition for the Jr. District Ensembles. The Junior Western District Festival rehearsal is held on March 10 and 17, 2012 at UMASS Amherst from 9-3. The concert is in the UMASS Fine Arts Center at 3 pm on March 17.
