MICHAEL BRAIDMAN, Producer, Director

Mr. Braidman has been teaching English at HRHS since 2003, and running the Drama Company since 2006. He was an active participant in theatre in both high school and college, and is very grateful for the opportunity to continue his involvement in performing arts.  He serves as Producer for all Drama Company productions, occasionally directs a play, and coaches Improvers Anonymous, the improvisational comedy troupe.

NICOLE TRIPP, Director, Middle School Drama Instructor

Nicole is an HRHS alum and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. She has been an integral part of the HRHS Performing Arts for many years, first as a student, more recently in coaching Middle School Drama and directing both plays and musicals.

TIGER THOMAS, Technical Direction

Tiger is an HRHS alum who started helping out backstage for the musicals when his daughter Addi got involved. He worked with Dave Tripp for several years before taking on the Tech Director mantle himself. He loves working with students at HRHS, and appreciates all the support he receives from parents, students, and friends.

JENNIFER BURDICK, Props, Photography

Jenn is graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, owns and operates Jenn Burdick Photography, and is co-owner of Sandpiper Antiques. She enjoys collecting and creating props for shows at HRHS, as well as photographing  for the playbills and display boards. She considers it a privilege to work with such talented young adults.

DAVID TRIPP, Technical Direction (2020-2024)

Dave got involved with theatre through his daughter Nicole’s involvement with HRHS productions. Although Dave had no prior experience before his involvement at HRHS, under the tutelage of Joe Larkin his theatre experience and knowledge has expanded to include set building, carpentry, rigging, fly operation, set design, technical direction, and lighting. Dave worked on Musicals and Drama Company productions at HRHS starting in 2015 before taking over as Tech Director in 2020.

JOE LARKIN, Technical Direction & Design (2009-2020)

Joe caught the theater bug in high school, and studied Theater Design with Jim Franklin at the University of Connecticut.  He has been involved in countless productions, serving in various roles including actor, carpenter, director, electrician, master electrician, fly operator, lighting designer, puppet maker, set designer, stagehand, stage manager, technical director and even writer.  Joe enjoyed working with the students at HRHS, and was quite happy that HRHS grads have gone on to their own study of theater in college.
